I am doing so much better. It took four nights to detox off trazadone. My mind was out of control. I couldn’t slow it down. I was having three-hour plus hot flashes. (those were terrible. I sat in front of a fan and just dripped sweat.)
What was odd? After it was all done, my plastic Enzo wedding rings barely fit. It is almost like Trazadone was causing my body to hold water. Now, I am drinking less water than I was while on Trazadone. (I have one engagement Enzo and David and I have a matching wedding band color. I feel these are a lot safer than wearing his great-grandmother’s diamond. Plus, a diamond wedding ring gets caught on things. Scratches dishes. Scratches kitty cats. You have to take it off for massages, etc.)
I am also awake. Like awake. Awake. I wake up and there is no drowsiness. I wake up, and I am aware. No more trazadone hangover or fog.
David spent the last two weeks working on a document to submit to the DOJ for funding for his team. He is a prolific reader; and, therefore an amazing writer. He spent ten to fourteen hours a day on this document. In the end, it was approved. And it looked amazing. When I proof-read it — I found only one small comma splice. (Nothing important.) So, yah to my husband for getting more funding.
So, I feel great. My mind is working. I am down ten pounds. Now to try and get back down to 190 lbs.
Just read your post today. On Nov 7 I had foot surgery. Plantar fasciitis
which my foot doctor cut each side and she removed the arkilies (sp) tendon and scraped a spur that was behind it. Now I sit in my recliner with my booted foot elevated and read or watch television. The boot has to be on for 4 weeks, then I have to wear another shoe thing. I really can’t stand on it for long as it just throbs if I do. So far the Dr says it looks good.
I am glad to hear that it went well. But that sounds so PAINFUL of a procedure. I love you. Keep on just relaxing and healing.
